I have been in the veterinary field since 1996 in various roles-Client Services, Veterinary Assistant/Technician, & Veterinary Hospital Management from 2007-2019. I have extensive experience in caring for dogs and cats and I am very knowledgeable in recognizing any issues that may arise. I also understand their needs and am very focused on their safety and comfort.
I have been grooming cats since my first veterinary job when I moved to Greensboro in 2000, doing Lion Cuts and bathing as part of my assistant/technician positions. I have been fine tuning that ever since. I am currently enrolled at the National Cat Grooming Institute obtaining my Master Cat Groomer Certificate.
I just adore every living creature on the planet, but I definitely have a special place in my heart for felines. I have been doing kitten rescue & foster as a side gig since 2011.
Being in the vet field, the one thing that I witnessed was the amount of stress a cat goes through during boarding or grooming when being in a busy, loud, or chaotic environment. Add in barking dogs to the mix and it is no wonder they tend to act skittish, don't eat, get urinary tract infections, have intestinal issues, or become "fractious." I have heard so many times from owners, "my cat is not mean at home!" They become that way because they are stressed! So, I thought, let's do something better! Purr Life was created in 2019 for cat boarding & cat grooming to give you and your cat a better option! We have 2 great locations to serve you, Greensboro and Winston-Salem.
Animals have been my passion since I was a little girl, and there is nothing I wouldn’t do to make sure your pet is happy and safe!
YOUR CATS ARE LOVED HERE!
